Activision's Secret Studio Making A New IP Seems To Be Ramping Up

One of Activision’s newest development teams, Elsewhere Entertainment, is continuing to hire and seems to be expanding to a new region, suggesting the team’s mysterious project may be ramping up.

Elsewhere is making an “all-new franchise” that is a “narrative-based IP,” but there continue to be no other details available as of yet. But now, Elsewhere is hiring for jobs based in Malmo, Sweden, which is noteworthy because previously the studio was only known to have a presence in Warsaw, Poland.

Malmo is also home to Just Cause studio Avalanche and Star Wars Outlaws developer Massive. Hitman developer IO Interactive also has an office in the Swedish city.

Elsewhere is actively hiring for a variety of roles currently across a number of disciplines, though the jobs ads don…

Berahino: I may have to move on

Saido Berahino knows he may have to leave West Brom in order to realise his ambitions for club and country.

The 21-year-old Burundi-born striker has taken the Premier League by storm this season after breaking into the Albion first team in the 2013-14 campaign.

Berahino has scored seven goals in 10 top-flight appearances for Alan Irvine s side and was rewarded with a first England call-up this week, having also been prolific at Under-21 level on the international stage.

The pacy frontman s form has led to talk of a move away from The Hawthorns and the Albion academy graduate has not ruled out leaving the club in order to play at the highest level.

If that s what it comes to, yeah, it will have to be that. he told reporters on Friday.

But obvious…

Inzaghi: I want to be the Ferguson of Milan

Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi has targeted emulating the achievements of legendary Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson.

Inzaghi, who enjoyed an 11-year spell as a player Milan, became the club s head coach in June, replacing his former team-mate Clarence Seedorf.

The 41-year-old may have only been in charge for five months, but he is already setting his sights on the long term.

Inzaghi has stated his ambition to match the longevity of Ferguson, who enjoyed a trophy-laden 27-year tenure at United before retiring in May 2013.

The last time the president was at Milanello, he said he would like me to be the coach for the next two decades, he told Corriere dello Sport.

Therefore I say that my dream is to become the [Alex] Ferguson of Milan, because…

Premier League preview: Newcastle United v Queens Park Rangers

Newcastle United will look to arrest a dreadful run of form when they host strugglers QPR in the English Premier League on Saturday.

After finishing fifth in the 2011-12 campaign, Alan Pardew s men have been unable to reproduce their form this season and after 17 matches, sit 15th, just two points above the relegation zone.

Newcastle have won just one of their last 11 matches in all competitions while their away form is particularly concerning, with the club last having tasted victory on the road in May.

Midfielder Chieck Tiote is set to miss a chunk of January on Africa Cup of Nations duty with Ivory Coast but Pardew will be appreciative that Senegal – the country of Newcastle s two first-choice strikers, Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse – did not qualify.

Newcastle United 3 Swansea City 0: First Benitez win boosts survival hopes

Newcastle United earned Rafael Benitez a first win as manager and boosted their Premier League survival prospects with a vital 3-0 victory over Swansea City on Saturday.

Newcastle s hopes of remaining in the top flight had looked slim following a dire performance in last weekend s 3-1 defeat at Southampton.

Benitez made five changes to the starting XI in response to that display and the Spaniard s team selection was vindicated on his birthday, with Newcastle earning their reward for a much-improved showing.

Jamaal Lascelles, who came in for Steven Taylor in the back four as part of the alterations, opened the scoring in the 40th minute, heading home only his second goal for the club from Andros Townsend s corner.

Jefferson Montero and Bafetimbi Gomis both…
